After the 80’s and 90’s, hair bands have come under verbal attack in many circles as being cheesy, corny, and even fake.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but unfortunately, most opinions are spurted out without taking the time to look into the facts.  Such is the case with hair bands, and the lost spirit of music since their untimely departure from the mass music stream sometime in the mid 90’s.  Go back and listen to some of their music and watch some of their recorded live shows and it will become evident that hair bands were for real, and brought about a musical energy unsurpassed.  New hard rock bands could learn a lesson from hair bands too.  That lesson would be to enjoy your craft and your fans will too.
