Since losing my job in the fall, I have been considering all kinds of ways of saving money by changing little things. For example I have been making my own gifts and things and I believe it creates a nice personal touch as well as been thrifty. I was out in the town yesterday and saw some really nice Card Blanks which would allow me to produce my own handmade greeting cards. I won’t be able to afford them this week, but I should have enough funds in a couple of weeks time to purchase the card blanks and make enough cards for my friends and family birthdays which are due over the following two months.

Funerals are a difficult time for the family of the deceased. When my best friend’s husband died, I tried to help her out as much as possible to make her grief easier to endure. Its amazing how the wedding photography industry has changed.  The new theme has been to hire a Wedding Photojournalist to photograph your big day.  I’ve seen some really great photos that were candid and use natural light to capture the moment.  This documentary style is exactly what my sister had for her wedding and there’s really no comparison between those photos and my own studio wedding photographer.  I think the biggest and best part is the spontaneous expressions of the people and compositions.
