Just about everybody has run into the problem I recently had.  I had a really important document that I was unable to open because of the file extension.  Every time I tried to open to document, I got an error message that said my system did not recognize the file type.  Since this document was very important, I started looking for solutions.  I finally found the FileCure program.  This program is able to identify and fix file extensions.  After using the program I was able to open this document and take care of the business at hand.  Now that I have this program, opening files will never be a problem.
