Lately, I’ve had to take on the cookery duties from my mother. It’s now my responsibility to cook for the family. I could scarcely say no to her request as she’s been incapacitated by a fall. I find it impressive that the cookware in her kitchen has never needed to be replaced. I’ve frequently questioned what sets the best cookware sets apart from all the others. Her cookware has indeed stood the test of time. My mother says that copper pans are a waste of time. She prefers utilizing cast-iron pans that are virtually nonstick once they’re decently “seasoned”. I think it’s something she learned from the years she spent living in Asia.
