A wedding reception is usually controlled by a Wedding MC. In fact, a good Wedding MC can help create a great wedding reception that the audience enjoys and the bride and groom and their families truly appreciate. The bride and groom have the most input (as well as their Moms’) into the program. Some cultures have formal procedures and elements that must be included. Primarily, in English speaking countries, a Wedding Reception is a way to share a meal, hear speeches about the bride and groom, welcome them to families, cut the cake, toss flowers, remove the garter and have a dance.
