CAMPING IN DERBYSHIRE
There are many places to go camping within Derbyshire ranging from the peak district to Packhorse farm. With Dramatic grit-stone edges, wild heather moorlands and gentle limestone dales the Peak District National Park is one of Britain’s best-loved landscapes that has been admired by humans for centuries. The Peak District is a ‘living landscape’ that supports a rich diversity of wildlife, culture and heritage. The Pack horse camp site is set within 50 acres on level, well maintained ground and has room for up to 50 tent pitches. A few pitches have acsess to an electrical hook-up. There is a centrally heated toilet block with hot and cold running water, hair driers and hand driers and free hot showers. Yeomans outdoor leisure isn’t far away to cater for all of those camping need ranging from new Tents to cookers.
